This was probably one of the best Mac challenge events I have done. The organisation and choice of routes for the event was beyond expectations.
The routes were complied with the usual cunning tactics from the organiser Selwyn and his amazing team to confuse and tax even the most seasoned Mac campaigners.

A BIGThank you to Peter, Selwyn and all the marshalls who made this a Mac to remember, and not forgetting the competitors who we shared our adventure with en route.

Can't really add anything new that hasn't been said. An absolutely staggering amount of money raised for Macmillan over a weekend.Anything we say, can't guzump the inner glow that Peter and Selwyn must have when they hand over that amount of cash to Macmillan.
Our first time, like others, wasn't sure exactly what to expect, certainly didn't expect to end up back home in Aberystwyth only 2 mins from home, warmth and home cooking but stuck to the spirit and camped (had a bit of ribbing from mates down here) BUT!! all the stages were virgin ground for us so we didnt really have a local advantage. The whole event is brilliantly planned and executed. Really enjoyed everyones company and tha craic. If we get a place will be back next year WITH A VENGANCE!!

Just to say it was my second Mac .This time it was my turn to drive what an absolutely brilliant weekend .A huge thank you to "scrumpy" -- Mark Hallows my last minute navigator who rose fantastically to the challenge . Well done to every one involved what a way to help a great cause and have some fun to boot !!!!!! Can we get in for a third year ??? well lets see

Hi all,
One more Thank you... from Rob and Rob in Team 58. I've just been flicking through Charlie's photos and 'tweets' (i think they're called...) on 'Tweeter' (i think thats the website) and it filled me once again with a huge sense of acheivement! Thanks to all you peeps involved in the prep, admin, and support ove the weekend (esp the lady on crutches - what a devotee!).

Fingers crossed we get in next year!
