I'm sure I read about this somewhere, but ...... if I can find it again.
If a company/business donate (sponsor my entry) by cheque, what's the best way of dealing with that cheque.
Should it be payable to the charity, or to me (an account set up to hold donations in - we have an old (empty) deposit account that would gain a bit of interest too).
If to me and put into the savings account, a single payment could be made once all monies are in.
Obviously, I would keep records of the account for tax and other "tracability" purposes.
