Free camping Gear
I am sure one or two of you may have realised that single skin tents don’t cut it unless you want ice with your drinks in the morning.
Every year after the V Festival at Weston Park the Local Rotary club collect tents for International Aid.
The deal is simple; you arrive, fill your car up with as much gear as you want / need. Then the rest of the day you help collect tents for international aid.
The question you will be asking is will there be many tents left?
Around 100,000 people turn up to the event.
That at least 50,000 tents
At an estimate 25,000 tents will be left, along with all the other camping gear you can think of. It’s not junk; I would estimate that most of it was bought for the festival.
Other festivals will have the same arrangements.

I'm still recovering from two nights in a single skinned tent. Maybe next time husband will remember the inner tent as well !!
